Custom Freeride

Freeride guiding is bespoke by nature — the mountain decides where the good snow is, and we go and find it. Tell me how you ski and what you’re chasing, and I’ll build days around the best terrain and the safest lines.

There’s no fixed itinerary in freeride — there’s the snowpack, the weather and your skiing, and a plan built fresh each day from all three. Lift-accessed faces, powder bowls, couloirs reached by a short skin: we go where the conditions are best on the day.

Every line is a decision before it’s a descent. I choose our terrain through a careful read of the snowpack and avalanche conditions, and I’ll show you how I do it — so the days are as much about judgement as they are about the skiing.

This is one-to-one or small-group guiding for confident off-piste skiers who want big-mountain terrain with the risk properly managed. By arrangement in a region of your choice.

Some ideas to start from

A powder day, done right

When it’s dumped, we chase the best snow — lift-accessed faces and bowls chosen for the conditions and your skiing.

Into the couloirs

Steeper, committing lines reached by lift or a short skin, for strong skiers — timed and assessed carefully on the spot.

An off-piste skills day

Sharpen your terrain choice and avalanche judgement while you ski — the knowledge to go further, safely.
